Health Choice Corporate Overview
A regional leader, Health Choice of Northwest Missouri, Inc. offers cost-effective health care networks and services. Health Choice's networks include Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and Workers' Compensation PPO programs. Through network affiliation agreements, Health Choice also can offer statewide, regional and national coverage.
Health Choice of Northwest Missouri, Inc. is a for-profit health care organization founded in April of 1990 that conducts business in the states of Missouri and Kansas. Health Choice is headquartered in Historic Downtown St. Joseph, Missouri.
Health Choice is neither an insurance company nor a risk-bearing entity. Core to Health Choice are four services:

+ Marketing
Health Choice works with multiple carriers and third party administrators to serve their enrollees and workers’ compensation subscribers that contract to access the services of approximately 4,000 physicians and other health care professionals and more than 30 hospitals in its two-state service area.
Health Choice is dedicated to providing clients with the highest level of service and building strong, value-added relationships over time. Clients include insurance companies, self-funded employers, third party administrators and state and national PPO's.

Participating hospitals, physicians and other health care professionals have met credentialing standards established by Health Choice with respect to scope of service, accessibility to your membership, licensure requirements and professional standing.
