Laurie Howard
Director of Provider Relations

Ms. Howard has been involved in health care for eleven years and managed care for seven years. She oversees provider relations and education, provider database development and administration, network recruitment, initial provider credentialing and recredentialing, as appropriate. Ms. Howard is a member of the MGMA (Medical Group Management Association of Missouri) and the MoAMSS (Missouri Association of Medical Staff Services).
Paula Simmons
Director of Claims Administration

Ms. Simmons has been with Health Choice for over five years. She executes all management aspects of processing workers compensation bills for review and repricing. Prior to Health Choice, Ms. Simmons was handled claims for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas for seven years.

Mr. Marquardt has been involved in managed care for thirteen years. He oversees all aspects of operation including client and provider relations, network management and development, provider contracting, and claims management. Mr. Marquardt is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives, Missouri Self Insurers Association, and the American Association of Health Plans.
